Congress senior leader Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi due to a health issue caused by an infection. Doctors said that her condition is stable and she is responding well to treatment. She is currently under medical observation and is being given antibiotics.
Rahul Gandhi visited the hospital after hearing about his mother’s health condition. He also cancelled his scheduled visit to Kerala to stay with her in Delhi. Party leaders said there is no need to worry as doctors are closely monitoring her health.
Hospital officials confirmed that Sonia Gandhi is recovering and her health is improving with treatment. More updates will be given after doctors complete further tests.
